kitesurfing whats the best kitesurfing kite and board for a beginner whos 5;9 and 165 pounds?
hi i have taken a few kitesurfing lessions im looking into buying my own gear i was wondering whats the best Kitesurfing Kites for beginners also whats a good board .. or is there a good starters kit anyone knows of? any help id really appreciate thanks
Hi Ruth,
your instructor would probably be the best person to speak to as he/she will know you ability better than i do, but i would recommend a delta kite such as a Best Kahoona around the 9.5m size, along with a Best Spark board around the 140 size.
The Kahoona kite has plenty of depower, almost automatic relaunch, handles gust well and has plenty of low down power. You will also need to get the Best Redline Performance Bar to go with the kite.

The Spark board is a great board (i have one) and is relatively cheap compared to other boards.
